No one, including a president of the United States of America nor the Prime Minister of Israel can presume to tell a Jew that they cannot live in the area of our national homeland. That's one of the main reasons my wife and I chose in 1983 to move to Samaria, right in the middle of the heartland of Israel-between Jerusalem, Tel-Aviv and Haifa.
I want to give an example of what happens after pressure is exerted on Israel to leave it's Biblical territory.
After Shiloh was founded in 1978, then-President Carter demanded of Prime Minister Menachem Begin that the then village of eight families be removed.
Carter, from his first meeting with Begin, pressed him to "freeze" the activity of Jews rebuilding a presence in their historic homeland.
Begin said: "You, Mr. President, have in the United States, a number of places with names like Bethlehem, Shiloh and Hebron, and you don't have the right to tell prospective residents in those places that they are forbidden to live there.
Just like you, I have no such right in my country? Every Jew is entitled to reside wherever he pleases."
now fast-forward to President Obama, who declared in remarks at a news conference with Italy's prime minister –
“Jewish communities beyond the Green Line in past agreements have been categorized as illegal."
President Obama has been misled. There can be nothing illegal about a Jew living where Judaism was born.
Ezekiel 36
“Therefore prophesy and say; So said the Lord God: Because, yea because those around you were appalled and longed for you to be an inheritance for the remnant of the nations, and you were brought up on the lips of every language and the gossip of every people”

THE SETTLEMENT FREEZE?
The cartoon on the upper right is from 1992, when President Bush tried to force an agreement that would have effected Jewish settlement in Judea and Samaria. During the ensuing years, the Jewish population in Judea and Samaria has more than quadrupled.
Miraculously, the Jewish population of Judea and Samaria grows every time Israel is pressured to concede parts of Judea and Samaria.
The return of my family to Karnei Shomron—-and of other Jews to more than 150 other communities in Judea and Samaria since 1967 — is not just a throwback to our Biblical rights. Nor is it solely to assert our right to return to areas that were populated by Jews until Arab violence drove them away (learn about the Jewish massacre in Hebron in 1929).
We have returned under a clear fulfillment of international law. The Supreme Council of the League of Nations adopted principles following the 1920 San Remo Conference.
Article 6: “The administration of Palestine...shall encourage...settlement of Jews on the land including state lands and waste lands.”
This “land” was originally delineated to include all of what is today Jordan as well as all the territory west of the Jordan River. In 1923, Britain created a new political entity, Transjordan, and suspended the right of Jews to live east of the Jordan River. But the region in which I now live was intended to be part of the Jewish National Homeland.
And then, in an historical irony, a Saudi Arabian refugee, Abdallah, who was fleeing the Wahabis in Saudi Arabia, was given the opportunity to establish an Arab Kingdom where none had existed on the west side of the Jordan River.
As a result, in the area of Judea and Samaria, where prophets and priests fashioned the most humanist and moral religion and culture on the Earth, Jews are now termed “illegals.”
No sovereign party including Israel and Jordan has been recognized in Judea, Samaria and Gaza since the British left the area in 1948. Therefore, how can the Jewish presence in Judea, Samaria and Gaza be termed illegal if at the same time, the term illegal is not also applied to all non Jews living in Judea, Samaria and Gaza?
Compared Israel to Saudi Arabia :)
